Waterkeeper Alliance advocates for regional, national and international energy policies that encourage greater use of renewable energy resources over inherently dirty fossil fuels. Our continued reliance on these fuels is devastating the environment and human health.
GOAL: Advocate for regional, national, and international energy policies that encourage greater use of renewable energy resources over inherently dirty fossil fuels.
Waterkeeper Alliance fights for strong regulations and vigilant enforcement of environmental laws. The Clean Water Defense campaign fights to protect the U.S. Clean Water Act from regulatory and Congressional rollbacks, guard wetlands and streams, and halt the destruction of critical wildlife habitat.
GOAL: Protect the U.S. Clean Water Act from regulatory and Congressional rollbacks and strengthen other environmental laws.
Waterkeeper Alliance helps protect rural watersheds by promoting the security of family-owned, sustainable farms.
The Pure Farms, Pure Waters campaign works with farmers, environmentalists and political leaders to prevent the spread of factory farms that pollute local waters and treat millions of farm animals with unspeakable cruelty.
GOAL: Eliminate the impacts of factory farms on our waterways and our communities.
